HS-DH1000GL Firmware updating failure.
« on: June 04, 2009, 03:14:07 PM »
HS-DH1000GL, updating firmware from 2.10 to 2.11, failed with the information " ACP_STATE_FAILURE". After restarting, I cannot access the share folder due to " no connection". But I still can see the IP address at the NAS navigator. Question: How can I recover to the original firmware or finish the updating. Great thanks

If the unit is within warranty I would call in for a replacement.  You can try force updating the firmware with the option to "rebuild partition table" checked,  I would use the most updated firmware for this unit.

You can also boot the unit into EM mode and update the firmware while it is in the emergency mode state. In order to do this, shut your unit off and then boot it up again while holding the INIT button, which is on the back of the unit.
