LS-WTGL/R1-V3 F/W 3.08 won't let me login

   After returning from work today I saw the power LED keep blinking. I tried to login to the web admin interface but the device won't let me because of wrong password.

I can see the device in router's device list. I can see all network folders. I can access the device via ftp. I can access the admin interface with "guest" w/o password. But I can't acces with "admin".

I've switched to "OFF" to shutdown the device. While pressing and holding the "FUNC" button for 30 seconds I switched to "ON". The blue power LED was blinking. I was thinking to reset the password to "password" but it didn't work.

Can anyone please explain what to do to make admin access possible?

   edit: We had a power blackout in our house while the Linkstation was running. Just for information.

   edit 2: I managed to make a reset. Now the admin can access via ftp with "admin" and "password" but still can't access the web admin interface with "admin" and "password" or old password.

I start to hate this device...

   I've updated the FW to 3.09 All fine again. Thanks anyway.
