LS-WSGL/R1 - How to reset password?

I've lost the password to the Advanced Settings for the Buffalo LinkStation Mini LS-WSGL/R1.  I've tried all my usual passwords, as well as the default "admin" and "password".  Nothing in the user manual tells me how to reset the password.

 

There is no reset button on the outside of the box anywhere. 

 

Does anybody know how?

You will either have a Reset button or Function button on the back of the unit.

Reset- Press and hold with a paperclip for 5 seconds

Func- Press and hold for 15 seconds

 

Both will reset settings neither one touches data.

If this does not reset the settings than the unit may have been set to not reset pwd with the external button, if this is the case you would need to know the password to reset it.
