RAID is not a replacement for a backup! Here's why.
Hi am new to this so forgive a dumb question, but why is my Terrastation constantly accessing the disks, even without me accessing it or having anything else on the network turned on?
It is connected to my wireless hub via ethernet and works fine from all the Macs and PC's on the home network. I just dont undertand why it is always so busy.

Goto your Terastation Live's web console.
On the menu on the left, click on PCast.
PCast windows will open up.
Disable media server.
It will stop the disks access.
