LS-XHL - Auto Button

   I am experiencing the following issue: When leaving the LS-XHL on Auto (The button on the back) the drive will enter sleep but will not wake when I attempt to access it remotely via the web service.  Does anyone know if this issue is by design? Comments, questions?

Web service?

 

If you mean, through buffalonas.com or any other remote service, that is not supported.

 

The auto power function is only designed to work on a querry from LAN, not WAN.
