Setting up RAID after writing data - Linkstation Pro Duo

I have one simple question.

 

Disk 1 has data.

Disk 2 is blank. 

 

Will setting up a RAID 1 at this point wipe the data already on Disk 1, or willit simply copy it to Disk 2 and establish the RAID 1?

It would get deleted. But form that point on everything would be mirrored.

Great! Thanks. I just needed to know if I was going to have to migrate the data and then put it back, or if I could simply turn the RAID on. You've answered that for me.
