Can I use the terastation as an NFS ?
« on: March 03, 2009, 08:15:13 AM »

Hi,

Im using ESX server 3.5 and im trying to add additional storage to m group. But I keep getting a error, when I try to connect the terastation as an NFS storage device.

So I was wondering is does the terastation supports NFS, is it something I need to enable or is it a a software issue ?

What model TS is this?

Only certain models support NFS.

If it's an older model you would need to use SMB.

If you're updated to the lastest Firmware there should be an NFS tab in the interface, and in there those fields need to be filled in. Beyond that though, specifically i wouldn't be able to assist in mounting that on an esx server.
