Firmware Update
« on: February 02, 2009, 01:44:07 PM »

I have just purchased a TerStation TS-RHTGL/R5 and have it added to Active Directory. But it will not show the AD users or groups through the web interface. So I checked the firmware and our NAS is at 1.26-1.16. So I downloaded 1.33-1.32, but when i try to perform the upgrade I get the following message.

"TS-RHTGL that needs updateing wasn't found."

Please help.

Thank you

What OS?

Try turning off ALL firewalls (Windows, anit-virus, other software firewalls).

I am running the update software from a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 server, with no firewalls installed. I can communicate to the device to be able to see it with the TSUpdater.exe software. But when it goes to perform the upgrade is when I get that error message.

Thank you

The computer you update with needs to be on the same subnet and for good measure, connect it to the same switch as the NAS.
