LinkStation Mini Problems

Hi,

 

I got my LinkStation Mini today. At the setup process i found 2 problems/errors:

 

1) If i click WebAccess/Folder Setup/<one of the folders> i get an internal error:

       "Undefined subroutine &main::webaxs_edit called at /modules/webaxs/www/cgi-bin/top.cgi line 19."

    My LinkStation is: LS-WSGL/R1 F/W 1.04

 

2) I downloaded the firmware 1.04-055 and 1.05 for the LinkStation Mini. But the *.exe crashes on my Win Vista 32bit Sp1.

In order to update the firmware you should remove or at least disable all of the anti virus software and firewall software running in the back ground.  After the firmware is reset please do a factory reset to the device under maintenance to ensure a clean boot.

i disabled the firewall and the virus software. But the updater software crashes still immediately after start.

Try doing a direct connect with a standard Ethernet cable.  Set your PC's IP to 192.168.11.10

also when you power up the ls try holding in the reset button at the same time its booting this will force it into an emergency mode.

Hmm, where is the reset button ?

I can't found one at the case and the manual doesn't write about a reset button.

Hi,

 

I updated my LS mini to 1.5 in the following way:

 

1) Disable firewall of Win Vista

2) Disable virus software

3) Connect the PC over ethernet kable not WLAN

 

The direct connection doesn't work. The LSUpdater starts and found the LS mini but after klicking update he says "no response fromn LS".

Is there a changes list for the different firmware?
