LT-V100 LinkTheater used with an external usb optical dvd drive

Hi,

 

I'm just wondering if it is possible or if there is a workaround for this scenario on a LT-V100 LinkTheater.

 

To use an external usb CD/DVD optical drive as a storage source.

 

My LT-V100 LinkTheater is running on ver 2.07b.

As far as I'm aware the USB port is only for a USB HDD and cannot be used with an optic drive.
