Hey all,

I've installed my buffalo pcie card into my HP Pavillion Elite, and for the first boot it worked no problem. I copied files onto my WD passport USB 3.0 external drive.

The next day when I booted the computer though it won't see the drive at all. If I connect it to a USB 2.0 port on the computer it works as expected (popping up a note to tell me that it can work faster if it's plugged into a USB 3 port).

Device Manager shows "Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller" and "Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub" as being present and working correctly. I've uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled with no change. I've also reconfigured the power cables inside the PC to move the USB cards power onto a less contested line but still no change.

The device has the latest firmware installed and drivers. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks

DrB
