Buffalo external hard drive causes my computer to turn off
« on: December 15, 2011, 04:24:34 PM »

Hi,

I have had a buffalo external hard drive for 9 months now and all of sudden it has decided to stop working after watching a film on my xbox.

The hard drive's model number is: HD-PV500U2/BK-EU, i have tried it on three seperate computers and recieved the same result

Each computer recognises the hard drive but only as a local hard drive, then when trying to open it an error message appears 'I think it says faulty driver but it disapears so quickly', after the message my computer restarts itself and I am powerless to stop it.

I would be most gratefull if anyone is able to help me resolve this issue.

Thanks

davo
