IFC-PCIE2U3 with WinPE
« on: March 05, 2011, 01:43:20 PM »

I have the card coming but have a question.

I'm using W7 Pro 64-bit and using a 32-bit backup application.  It comes with a WinPE Recovery Disc, so it's setup for 32-bit also.  I have the option to load drivers after it loads up.  Somebody else that has a non-Buffalo card using the same application stated that WinPE can't use this type of driver which selects either 32-bit or 64-bit when installing.  I wasn't expecting this card to work under under all situations but just wonder if there is a work around for this one?  Another issue is that for certain functions a reboot is required and then the driver would be lost anyway.

Now that I have the card, installed the drivers, etc and works on my 64-bit system.  I was able to locate the inf, etc. and install the drivers from a W7 64-bit recovery/repair disc.  The question now is, how do I extract, find, get, etc. the 32-bit set of files so that I can load them after booting from a W7 32-bit recovery or WinPE disc?
