Thanks for the quick response. I understand that DLNA compliance does not specifically require NetFlix streaming. The reason i bring up DLNA compliance in this context is the fact that PlayOn Digital Media Server software, by MediaMall Technologies is suppose to enable Netflix Streaming on DLNA compliant devices. I have tried several versions of this software on the LinkTheater with no luck.
When I queried their tech support team, and sent them the PC logs for error-checking, they said the issue must be that the LinkTheater is not a truly DLNA compliant device.
I have four of the LinkTheater devices and absolutely love them. I have just been making a great attempt to get them to stream NetFlix, with no luck so far. With this feature, these devices will serve my needs for the foreseeable future.
I am also aware Buffalo has stopped manufacturing these devices, but I was hoping for continuous firware updates. Is this going to happen, or has firmware development for these devices also ceased?
Thanks again for your time and assistance.
