Prolems connecting to an Apple Airport Express
« on: January 23, 2009, 03:37:30 AM »

Hi all,

I just bought here in Italy a Linktheater LT-H90WN and I'm having troubles connecting the Linktheater to the Apple Airport Express.

The LT-H90WN is upgraded to a firmware released in October 2008; when scanning the wireless station the Airport is showed in the list as WPA/TKIP protected but without any signal, even when the two machines are very close (30-40 cm.). In the list the Airport is showed also without any simbol identifying the protocol. Same thing happens without a password protecting the access to the Airport.

Please help

Antonio

Try changing the channel on the unit, also if you have any other wireless devices that are running 2.4 please remove them or ensure there on different channels.

Sorry for the late reply.

Proximity can sometimes be an issue for wireless devices. Try moving it several feet away from the router. Also, if there are external antennas on the device (I'm not sure, we don't have this model in the US ), make sure they're snug, and try a different antenna if you can.

Hi thank you for your answer.

I already tried moving the Airport Express around with same results.

I also tried the Time Capsule with the very same results.

I think it should be some incompatibility with Apple products.

I'm waiting for some news.

Thank you
