LinkTheater - Multiple file playback question
« on: December 23, 2008, 10:05:38 AM »
I am considering the purchase of a LinkTheater box but have a question.  I primarily want to be able to playback home videos in H.264 HD format on my HD TV from my network.  My question is, when you start a particular scene to play, does it seamlessly continue playing subsequent scenes until you stop it.  This is what I would want it to do, but haven't been able to find a description or Youtube demo video that confirms it.  It's a deal breaker if you have to manually start each scene manually. Thanks.

If the movie is composed of several different files, the player will not link them seamlessly.  It will play a specified file but will go back to the file menu when that individual file is complete.

However, if you keep all of those files in a folder by themselves, and they are named in order, you should be able to play the entire folder of files.  There may be slight pauses when the player switches from file to file.
