Is there a better Link Station GUI available?
« on: November 17, 2008, 11:03:54 AM »

Can link theater display Movie Manager software? I have hundreds of movies stored on the network and it is difficult to browse the movies using Link Theater.  I want to be able to sort the movies by genra, actor etc... and to see the movie cover.

There are several software programs that do this but if I have to use a PC connected to my TV to use a movie manager then why do I need the Link Theater? I could just use the PC to stream videos to the TV.

Thank you for your help

I also have Movies stored on my PC and Server, and the way I manage them is by naming Folders and HDD's.  The Folder where the Movie is stored has the Movie Name, then I store these Folders in Sub-Folders with Category Names.  The HDD's are named by the year.  This seems to work pretty good and you can maneuver the Link Theater Software fairly easy.
