Big problem of openvpn server with WZR-HP-AG300H ddwrt 19154

I have a WZR-HP-AG300H with DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (06/03/12) std(SVN revision 19154) , downloaded from BuffaloTech.

When I start openvpn server daemon?bridge mode) ?i found some problem?

1?my iphone5 can't ?airplay mirror?to my Apple TV?LAN port??btw?normal airplay work well but ?airplay mirror??

2?my iphone5 can't dlna to my sony 55ex720(LAN port) & 46hx750(LAN port)

Some imperfect solutions?

1?sony 55ex720 ? 46hx750 & Apple TV use
Wifi access to WZR-HP-AG300H.

2?stop openvpn server daemon.

3?WZR-HP-AG300H Downgrade to ddwrt 17798 ?downloaded from BuffaloTech?

want to use ddwrt 17798 cause it have many small problem!
Just like CPU useage alway 0%.....

my iPhone can't discover sony tv&Apple TV which is connected to wired LAN. But if I detach sony tv&apple tv from LAN, and connect through WIFI, it can be discovered without any problem. I guess that the multicast can not cross wired and wifi network, but don't know how to fix that.

I already answered you in the dd-wrt forum, why you haven't produced any answers is beyond me, but i'll say again, apple TV, WD TV, Roku etc etc. type devices do not use multicast to stream, they use internet services within the unit itself, such as netflix or amazon prime or crackle, these types of services do not use multicast to stream.

 

Now back to my original question, same one i asked in the dd-wrt forum, why are you trying to have your iphone 'discover' your apple tv? If you are just trying to stream with the iphone, you don't need to discover anything, the iphone should have a web browser, which is all you need to stream netflix or the like with...

We are aware of the issue, and are awaiting a proper stable fix before releasing a new update for the firmware. If you want the fix’s for the 19xxx series firmware, I recommend you use the imperfect solution you have already mentioned in stopping the daemon, otherwise the older firmware version should work just fine as a solution to keep you up and running without the need to disable the openvpn server.
