WZR-HP-G450H USB HDD Filesystem support
« on: March 10, 2013, 01:29:17 PM »

Hello

Last December I bought Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H Router mainly because of USB HDD support.

Now I'm trying to connect my new HDD (Samsung 2TB) to the router without any success.

I've followed some tutorials and formatted HDD with ext3 filesystem.

Now when enable USB support in Web Interface it doesn't find the HDD.

Is it possible that this router support only FAT32?

Can I upgrade/fix firmware somehow to enable ext3 filesystem support?

Thank you all in advance!

Hello, I have the last rev of dd-wrt from bufalo and obviously, the same router.

My router has a "stupid issue" about the usb port. If you plug it totally ti doesnt find the HDD, but if I plug it until 1mm left, it find it! (Sorry my bad english).

Could you try that?
