I have a problem setting up the wireless Internet connection after the reset of a working configuration.
So, according to the guidelines:
1. WHR G300N
2. I think it's the user friendly firmware, revision?? No idea. The router was bought in October 2011
3. ISP - Unitymedia (Germany), cable
4. Computer - a Samsung R730 laptop. I have no idea which is "my network", sorry. Home?
5. OK, so now the rest of the details:
My previous working configuration: The cable provider's router is connected to the internet with a TV data cable. The Buffalo wireless router is connected to the cable router with a LAN cable via the 'Internet' LAN slot.
How I tried to reconfigure the reset WLAN it: I connected everything as written above PLUS connected the wireless router via a LAN cable to he laptop.
I tried the setup wizard with the side switch both on Auto an On, though it didn't make a difference.
I only get the message: ?Internet Information - (Not determined because DHCP or PPPoE server not detected.)
So where do I have to enter what?
