Router WZR-HP-G300NH2 3G modem supported

I've been using many units WZR-HP-G300NH router for years with 3G modem HUAWEI E180. Everything fine, no problem.

 

Now it's impossible to buy more units, so I had to buy three new units WZR-HP-G300NH2 router.

 

I have tested WZR-HP-G300NH2 router with HUAWEI E180, QUALCOMM 3G P.N.1201439, or Bandluxe LTE USB Modem.

 

None of them work with router Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2. I've been testing for hours and can not find the problem.

 

I wish somebody from buffalo could tell me one, just one, 3G USB MODEM that really WORKS with  WZR-HP-G300NH2.

 

And would be nice to know WHY it doesn't work with WZR-HP-G300NH2 when it did OK with old WZR-HP-G300NH.

I've tested with this 3G USB MODEMS and WRT-HP-G300NH2 ROUTER :

- HUAWEI E180

- ZTE MF190

- ZTE MF 110

- Bandluxe C502

- Qualcomm Qvation MC990D

- Sierra Wireless Qualcomm Apex 880

 

And none of them worked.

 

WRT-HP-G300NH worked perfectly with HUAWEI E180.

But WRT-HP-G300NH2 did not work with none.

 

Are you sure it will work with all HUAWEI models you listed?

 

I'll buy one to test.

MODEMS USB 3G working on WZR-HP-G300NH2

 

I did a mistake in some of my tests.

 

Let's re-list MODEM USB 3G compatibilities with BUFFALO WZR-HP-G300NH2 firmware 19154 :

 

- HUAWEI E180 - does not work (it worked with WZR-HP-G300NH for years)

- ZTE MF190 - does not work

- ZTE MF 110 - does not work

- Bandluxe C502 - WORKS !!

- Qualcomm Qvation MC990D - does not work

- Sierra Wireless Qualcomm Apex 880 P/N 1201439 - WORKS !!

 

Buffalo's support is helping me to make it work with HUAWEI E180.
