to initiate the access point can i just wire the AG300N to the nertwork with LAN RJ45 or do I have to configure it first?

thanks but these are direction to use as a bridge - to extend the range of the network.  I want to use the device as an access point by pluging the LAN into it and it emiting a wireless signal.  And I want to know what I have to do to make it work as an access point

My bad, ;-) in that case, it should be as easy as plugging in the RJ45 and enabling wireless and setting the wireless security, However, I am assuming the prefix is WLAE?
