Prob: Ethernet Converter not found
« on: November 23, 2008, 07:19:46 AM »

Hi all!

I have a prob with the Ethernet Converte Manager...I was trying to set a static IP address...and in the E.Converter Mgr I unchecked the box "get Ip address auto throw DHPC" and I insert a specific IP address.

Since then the software wont find any E.Converter at all.

The help topics made me check these preferencies (use DHCP...Get IP address auto...ect...) in win xp (connection properties) but the connection is set fine.

The Converter actually works...but the Mgr wont find it anymore. It's just like disappeared and I cannot find anywhere to chk box "use DHCP" again...on "settings" it says "select E.Conv" , under "IP settings" I get same answer...

ANY  HELP PLS????

(Pls avoid 2many technical terms...I'm Italian...my English is ok...but pc tech-terms arent my best, thx!!!!!)

Can you log into the web interface via the IP address (for example 192.168.11.xx)

have you tried to disable all of your anti virus and firewall software?

Industrial grade Serial RS232 to Ethernet Converter, also called a Ethernet to RS232 Converter. The XetaServer 1000 is a cost efficeint industrial grade converter with support for RS485 and RS422 interfaces.
