WZR-HP-G450H - Not Responding - Led Diag

Good evening.

 

I just bought a router model WZR-HP-G450H, I started, I went to the settings, the IP 192.168.11.1, I used Easy Setup, and after restarting the router, it flashes the LED DIAG, and can not access the router. I tried holding the reset button for 3 sec, 10 sec, 30 sec ... and nothing does not work. Does the router is defective? Do you have any other form of return to factory setting? Is there a hard reset mode?

Try a 30-30-30 reset.  Hold the reset button throughout this 90 second procedure and start with the unit plugged in.  After 30 seconds pull the power.  After the second 30 seconds reconnect power.  After the final 30 seconds release the reset button.  If the problem persists I would contact Buffalo tech support at 866-752-6210.

30/30/30 did not work, I contacted the support of Buffalo, who directed me tosend the unit to switch, but for me this procedure is not possible since I am located in Brazil, and was informed that only exchange to USA and Canada.

But I managed to solve by updating the OpenWrt.org firmware by TFTP. I tried this firmware update with the buffalo's own, but it was not possible becauseit is encrypted (.enc), and to use the TFTP firmware has to be a binary (.bin).

Anyway, I have the router working normally, even though I did not become abrick.

Which firmware did you load from openwrt.org ?
