So I live in an apartment next to my phone provider. They have given me 2 years free Internet with my new ipad from their many wifi hotspots. As I live next to the shop I can sometimes pick it up, but barely. Will this unit amplify the signal without the use of a computer? Or after setting up with a computer can I leave the computer off? Thanks!
