« on: March 02, 2012, 08:50:24 PM »

Hi all,

I have WZR-HP-G450H ,since ddwrt isnīt stable then i have been using friendly-firmware.

But i have a problem with dyndns config with Synology Diskstation, i want to pointing or routing from dns to my diskstation ( ip 192.168.11.11) nor work with or without DMZ to 192.168.11.11

In Setting

Dynamic DNS Service

User Name  xxxxx.dyndns.org

Password  xxx

Host Name xxx

all update and get connect to dns, but when i go to thtp://xxxxx.dyndns.org  always go to Buffalo router airstation ( ip 192.168.11.3), can i to directly to my diskstation ( 192.168.11.11), what can i do or which config in aditional?

thanks and help

What you're asking for is called "NAT Loopback".

It doesn't exist on the friendly firmware of the WZR-HP-G450H. It requires the dd-wrt firmware. I'm in the same boat as you. I think we've been screwed by Buffalo. I'm never going to purchase from them again.

NB. If they ever do get dd-wrt working for the G450H, there's a checkbox to "enable loopback", but the checkbox doesn't work. Instead you have to do this:

Administration > Commands > Firewall Script

insmod ipt_mark

insmod xt_mark

iptables -t mangle -A PREROUTING -i ! `get_wanface` -d `nvram get wan_ipaddr` -j MARK --set-mark 0xd001

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -m mark --mark 0xd001 -j MASQUERADE

I agree, the dd-wrt firmware provided for WZR-HP-G450H is totally useless and full of bugs.

I cant even setup a simple client bridge with it.
