Buffalo provides Data Recovery services. Read about it here.
I have a Linkstation HS-DH250GL. There was a power outage here at home and then when the Linkstation came back on line the error light was blinking. I noticed the fan was not running so I unplugged it.
Where do I go from here? I need to replace fan or move drive into other device.
Thanks.
The fan is out.
I was told by support to buy:
"We do not sell parts. You can purchase the fan at any computer shop.FAN replacements 40mm x 10mm 12V fan (3 pinned smart fans)Manufacturer is 'Nidec' and part number is D34666-58 BUF"
But I have tried to Google that part and could not find it.
Do you have a product code for their site? I cannot find the right fan on there.
Thanks!
This link should give you a list of all of their mini fans.

Be careful though, when my fan went down Buffalo support gave me the wrong fan size and part number. Compare the part number they provided to the fan that's currently installed just to be sure. The part number must match exactly or they are giving you the wrong information. Is this a Linkstation ProDuo? If yes, let me know and I will confirm the correct fan size when I get home from work this evening. If it's the ProDuo, I believe you'll need a 50x10mm 3 pin fan but again, let me confirm that before you order.
