Thank you so much for this thread + DD-WRT image!
It is most definitely the best one available that I've came across so far - and I've tried quite a lot of the (DD-WRT, Buffalo's user friendly & DD-WRT) image.
The DD-WRT images by Buffalo and the ones found on the WZR HP G300NH DD-WRT wiki page are all prone to give wireless disconnection issues, since they don't use the atheros 9k WiFi driver (like found in this image).
This DD-WRT image is just so much easier to configure than the silly "user friendly" one from Buffalo + I got slightly better throughput with it too.
Unfortunately for me, it seems like my Intel 4965AGN WiFi card that I have in my Dell 9400 is limited to only 130Mbps connectivity. The fastest that I got so far was an average upload speed of 80Mbps via my WZR HP G300NH v1 to my HP Proliant Microserver via SAMBA shares.
I'm definitely going to recommend this image & thread to my friends.
