Why Do I Have To Constatly Apply/Save WZR-HP-AG300H

It seems with my router, the WZR-HP-AG300H?, it does not drop connections as far as laptops, wired, etc.  However, it seems that I am having huge issues with my iPhone and iPods.  It seems that for them to detect the home sharing that iTunes offers, a lot of the time I have to go to wireless settings, and then I have to hit apply and then save, even though I do not change anything.  That then logs everyone out from the router, but magically home sharing shows back up.  It does dissapear again though, timeframe is variable.

 

So, what is going on?  Everything seems to work fine except for this.

Which build of firmware are you running and what page are you on that you are applying the settings? Does it matter what page? What firmware are the iOS devices running? The latest version is 5.0 for those devices.

I am running 1.54 and IOS 5.

 

I apply from the wireless settings page.  Second tab I believe from web interface.  Was doing this long before IOS 5.0

1.54 for the firmware? Are you sure that is not for your linkstation? I need the build number for your firmware which is in the status page.

DD-WRT Professional Firmware (alpha version) 17135.

I have yet to see this issue. You could try reflashing the firmware on the unit and resetting it to see if the problem continues.

If I were to do that, can I restore from a back-up?

And how exactly do I do that?  I want to be able to get back all of my old settings and static IP addresses, etc.  Will I be able to do this?
