Sorry if there's already posts like this; I've browsed the forums and still need some help.

I am the proud owner of a new Buffalo? WHR-G300N V2?

So I have a BT home hub which is the main modem and wireless router for the house. I've had an ethernet CAT6 cable laid across to the other end on the house. This will connect the Buffalo?  to the Home Hub.

I want the Buffalo to act as a simple access point that effectively extends the range of the Home Hub. I.e. I want to have the same SSID and password and for it to be as if one connects to the home hub. Is there a guide that explains this is reasonable detail?

Is it worth installing DD-WRT or can the stock firmware do this easily?
