450 Router and G300HP Clients
« on: September 23, 2011, 11:10:54 PM »

Okay, I've got the Buffalo 450 gigabit Router... Wireless enabled, 40MHz Chanel Width, NG Mixed.  Clients are set to 40MHz as well.  My problem is that these client adapters will connect at 300Mbps then drop to 270, 250, 200, 160, 130, 100, 54, 12, and bottom out at 1Mbps..

I connect to the same router with my internal built in wireless card and it connects at 150Mbps and maintains...

These cards DID work perfect for a week, then I played a game (BAttlefield 2) then it started doing this stuff.  I tried factory reset router, changed firmware multiple times, etc, etc..

I've got TWO of these wireless cards.. tried changing them out thinking it was bad.. both did same thing.

Is upnp enabled? What security are you using on the router and are you connecting to the physical wireless interface or a virtual one? Is there any devices or metals that could be causing interference.

What are the exact models of the wireless cards? Are they set to 40 mhz as well? Have you tried to update the drivers for them? Also have you tried the friendly version of firmware for this unit or only just the DDWRT? I use this router as my main router and I havnt had any issues. I could send you my configuration file if you like.
