Setting the WZR-HP-AG300H as a wireless bridge/repeater
« on: August 18, 2011, 11:04:19 AM »

I need to clean up my wireless connection within my home and have herd that this router is probably the best to accomplish this. Unfortunatly there is no wireless bridge configuration button in the wireless setup. Can somebody please offer a detailed set up to accomplish this.

Thank you

HI,  I am trying to do the same with WZR-HP-G300NH2.

It has DD-WRT on the box and the stock firmware on the unit is

Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (03/21/11) std?

Here is my configuration

Main Router: DLINK DIR 655 (Not DD-WRT'd) IP: 192.168.0.1

Set as AP, DHCP etc

Secondary router WZR-HP-G300NH2?. Configured exactly as FAQ3.

IP = 192.168.0.10

From the logs of main router, I see that second router is successfully connected. Which is verified from secondary router administration/status.

I can ping main router form the Administration/Command window but NOT from the computer connected to the secondary router

I looked at the other link you have provided in the previous post for Repeater config..I don't see such option in my current dd-wrt version in the router. I guess it is using a different version?

Can you (or anyone) please help me get this config fixed.

I want the second router to connect to primary router wirelessly.

Thanks in advance.
