Intel 2200BG wireless driver not connecting to Buffalo Router
« on: December 10, 2011, 10:14:41 AM »

My laptop - Inspiron 6000 - with an Intel 2200BG wireless driver, is not able to connect to the wireless connection. My router's model is the Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2 , with the firmware being DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (03/21/11) std. The issue is that my other devices such as iPhone and iPad have no issues connecting to the wireless connection. But, since my laptop seamlessly connects to other routers such as Netgear and Linksys, the problem seems to be with the router. Just as an fyi, my security mode is set to "WPA Personal".

My ISP is OptimumOnline. I've also tried updating my wireless driver and still it's the same issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Update to the latest DD-WRT firmware (17798).
