Hi,

i just purchased WCR-GN device. But I have trouble connecting my notebook to my desktop computer. Let me describe my problem.

My ADSL modem is connected to Router WCR-GN via Internet port.

My desktop computer is connected to Router WCR-GN via Ethernet Port1.

My Notebook is a wireless device.

Both my computers (desktop and notebook) connect sucessfully to the internet.

But for some reason, i cannot connect my notebook to my desktop computer via wireless.

But if i plugged my notebook through ethernet port2, i can connect them successfully.

Can anyone help me with my problem?

additional info:

Router IP: 192.168.1.77

Desktop IP: 192.168.1.81

Notebook IP: 192.168.1.91

I can ping my router from both of my computer. But my notebook won't ping my desktop computer via wireless. And my desktop won't ping my notebook.

What firmware version are you running on your unit? If you are running the DDWRT firmware I would try the friendly. I have seen this issue before with the DDWRT firmware.
