I have exactly the same problem. I noticed the drops were arriving with a high usage of the wifi (streaming for instance).
When the connection drops, I can get connected to the device again, but DHCP seems not to provide any correct IP.
There is no message in the log file and the interface is up, so the script given in the DDWRT forum does not work.
Had to put back my Linksys.
