Professional Firmware PROBLEM! / Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH
« on: November 20, 2010, 06:00:03 PM »

Hello Everybody.

I recently bough a Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH.

The router came with the factory firmware installed and I upgraded it to the latest version 1.74.

The router runs very smooth with this firmware - I am actually very impressed.

Version 1.74 Screenshots:

However, my intention when buying the this router was to "migrate" to the Buffalo Professional dd-wrt branded firmware version, because of its built-in OpenVPN Server.

So I flashed the router, via the webinterface, with the professional version from the buffalo website.

Now NOTHING works...!

I have not changed any settings at all - so I couldn't have messed it up myself.

Version Professional Screenshots:

(note: wlan LED is flashing green not solid)

It simply doesn't give any internet access...!

This really sucks, since I was expecting it to work especially since it is a Buffalo approved professional version.

Does anyone have any ideas of why it is not working with the Buffalo Professional Firmware ?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks, Martin.

Who is your internet provider? Did you walk through the set up assistant? Did you power cycle your modem for 2 minutes?
