I’m using the WZR-HP-G300NH with the Buffalo branded dd-wrt software v24SP2-EU-US (08/19/10) std - build 14998. If I clone a WAN MAC address then click apply, and then save, the router shows that the MAC address has been successfully changed. However, when I reboot the router, the MAC address reverts to its default value even though settings for the MAC address remain the same values as I had previous set just before the reboot. I have to manually apply and save settings again after every reboot to get the router to change the default MAC settings.
This appears to be a bug as the WAN MAC address should remain static across reboots.
