WZR-HP-G300NH - Which Firmware to use (1.74 or V24-SP2 build 14998)

I was just curious, I'm using the WZR-HP-G300NH router with the 1.74 firmware. I see the DD-WRT is available, which firmware do you think is better and why?

openwrt ftw, NAS, samba, media streaming and unlike the other 2 options wireless N stays at 300mbps, but if you aren't using N devices or usb storage then ddwrt peforms better than stock.
