Use WHR-G300N as bridge?

can i use the WHR-G300N as a bridge? Will I get a full 300mbps connection back to my main router, which is a WHR-HP-G300N?

If you sent your encryption to either AES or WPA2 mixmode then it will work at 300 mbps
