Hi to all in forum, i'm a WHR-HP-G300n user and i want just to explain my point of view about firmwares in this device. i think buffalo firmware is a good firmware just need some extra configurable options like power adjust ** for non USA resident **, more complete QoS setting, new web interface face etc. etc.
my router was running the initial 1.70 USA firmware and this do the job without problem, now after upgrade to 1.82 feel the device more slow under heavy load, with 1.82 can't downgrade to 1.70 maybe due to bootloader version change preparing platform for dd-wrt hosting.
Just in my opinion buffalo team only need to develop a professional firmware based on the original and leave
dd-wrt until a stable version are ready for this Atheros based devices.
