I've attached a Buffalo 1TB eSata drive to my desktop, and now Vista (64-bit) takes quite a bit longer to boot - probably an extra 2 minutes or so.
I've detached the drive to verify that the eSata drive was causing the problem, and the slow boot time went away.
This isn't a HUGE deal, but it is annoying. I'm guessing Vista is running some sort of disk check or something which is taking the extra time. Anyone know of a tweak to speed things up again?
Thanks!
Mark
