If you can't do it the convential way then a holding the reset button and starting all over is your best bet.

This is not a good suggestion. Reset won't help.

As far as I know, this can only be fixed by "Delete Bittorrent Information" in NAS > Bittorrent. Which means all downloading files, if any, will also be deleted.  Smart eh?!

Shouldn't Buffalo fix this problem instead of than asking users to reset?

Is this with 1.60 or 1.65 revision of firmware? Are you in US or Europe?

I had same problem, and posted it a month or so back. And if this isn't fixed in fw 1.65, i will not be pleased!

hkpiums reply worked, deleting all torrent information was the solution for the problem. Thnx for that, didn't even notice that button as i've been using a bookmark for the bt manager.

and yes, this is with the 1,65 firmware like mentioned in the first post.

No problem mate, glad it helped.

But I think that's not the ultimate solution.

The client should be able to delete those "double-counted" hidden files upon user click the delete button.

Why the Client is so silly that it leaves garbage behind? When an user wants to delete a particular torrent, it means the residual hidden file is no longer needed.

I'm running into the same problem.  I had the problem in FW1.67 and now I updated it 1.71 and still the same.  I have a few others torrents that I'd like to keep so I can continue them later so I would like to not have to reset the whole thing.  I wish someone would figure out how to actually access the BT Client's directory so we can just go in and see what is actually in there.  There has got to be some way to access the filesystem other than through the Web Client.  Does it have a temporary file system written somewhere on the drive that is hidden?

Ideas anyone?

The problem continues with firmware 1.74 (WZR-HP-G300NH Ver.1.74 (R2.06/B1.03) ) I also getting errors when triying to stop one 100% downloaded torrent. The solution of delete all the bittorrent information it's ok but I think it's a **bleep** way to solve a firmware bug. Thak goodness this fix doesn't delete all the downloaded files, because if it's deleted all it will be a MAJOR bug.
