Please help. I just bought the Nfinity BR & AP WHR-G300N-AP and a USB WLI-UC-GN adapter for my non-N laptop (Asus F5SL), but the distance is worse than the g router it is supposed to replace.
During the otherwise easy set-up I was asked whether I wanted my USB adapter to be "client" or "access point" and had no idea which to choose, with no layman's advice. It did say it was easy to change back later, but it certainly hasn't been easy for me to find how. I did find a conversion between "router" and "client" and tried changing things, but it still sucked. I am losing excellent like four metres from my window and 25 metres away, nada!
