Connecting Two WZR2-G300N Router Together?
« on: December 22, 2008, 03:18:12 PM »

I already use one WZR2-G300N as a router and I wanted to to extend my wireless network and I was hoping to use a second WZR2-G300N as a bridge/ access point to connect a wired desktop and a slingbox to my exsisting network. (Hopefully, I have the right definitions??)

Is it possible to connect 2 WZR2-G300N together to the same network?

Thanks for the quick response, then what should I get? As I mentioned I would want to have wireless connected to my exsisting network with a few ports to connect a desktop and a slingbox.

Does Bufalo have a product that would work in this situation?

Hi!

I have one WZR2-G300N router now, but I alway fail to setup for Slingbox AV with this router ? Can you share some tip for setup? Thanks

(I do setup port forward with TCP 5001, and also try to clip on DMZ function,... what else?)

PS: it work on internal network I can see, but fail for internet viewing function!!!

What type of modem are you running behind this? It sounds like you're running into an issue with dual-NAT and may need to bridge either your router or the modem to get this to work properly.

Slide the switch to AP position to change the WZR2-G300N to an AP mode.  Now it can talk to another wireless router of your network.
