Trouble setting up DriveStation HD-CX1.0TU2

I bought a DriveStation with Hardware Encryption 1TB (HD-CX1.0TU2) and i cannot seem to access it.

When plugged in for the first time (Using Windows XP SP3), Windows searched for a driver, installing "Initio Default Controller" as its driver, i can hear the HDD spin up inside, and that is all, there are no strange noises. I can see the drive under Device Manager, as Initio Default Controller, but not in Disk Managment, or in My Computer.

 

I have also tried this drive on two different Windows 7 Machines, both Home Premium, one 32-bit and one 64-bit. The same drivers are installed from Windows Update, and again i can only see it in Device Manager, but not Disk Managment or Computer.

 

Any help on this issue would be useful.

While plugged in, what color is the lock light on the unit?

Well, i can only see one light on, so i assume that is the lock light?

It's green.
