Cloudstation and Samsung Smart TV
« on: May 05, 2012, 03:58:08 AM »

Hi, if the mods or tech guys read this then please can they pass this on and maybe put it in a future firmware update.

I recently posted a thread about DLNA streaming to a Smart TV which noone could solve, I have now learnt that the way the Cloudstation streams (transcodes) it to the TV is not in the right format and thats why you get a "file type not supported" even though the files all stream to my Xbox and PS3.

Unless anyone else has worked a way how to do it?

Same problem here. But the samsung tv / bluray player can play the movies when you copy them to an usb stick. But that isn't why I bought a buffalo cloudstation. It must play them directly from disk. It doesn't mather if you enable or disable the transcode option. You always get the same error. The player doesn't recornize the file.
