Auto-mounting CloudStor in OS X Finder on Boot
« on: April 28, 2012, 03:57:07 PM »

I installed Pogoplug Backup and checked 'Show a separate drive for each Pogoplug device" in preferences.

When booting my iMac the Cloudstor does not show up in Finder.  I saved some shortcuts to a couple of the folders on the CloudStor in Finder's sidebar.  If I click one of them the CloudStor mounts at that point.  I have to click the shortcut a second time to actually get to the drive.  After that it remains in Finder until the next time I boot the computer.

I was able to get my Linkstation to auto mount by putting a link to the main folder in 'Login Items' in System Preferences.  I just tried that with the CloudStor, but it didn't do anything.

Is there a way to force the CloudStor to automatically mount when the computer is booted?

Thanks,

Dan

The only thing that I can suggest is that you make sure you are running the latest version of Cloustor firmware. Did the linkstation connect via AFP or SMB and is time machine enabled on these folders?
