Ministation Cobalt should just use the generic Windows USB Storage drive, there is nothing specific to the device you need to load. Does the drive currently show up in Disk Management? If so you can try to mount it from in here by simply assigning it a drive letter. If not, can you be more specific with the error you are receiving in Device Manager for the drive?

Go to device manager, select the unit, right click on it and click update drivers. Just let it automatically find drivers and it should work just fine. If not, go to microsoft and download a new copy of ubstor.sys.

The issue lies with the Win7 PC, not the ministation. It uses the same driver as in XP. Contact the support for your Windows 7 laptop.
