Disable all of the firewalls on the computer and run the NASNAVI again. If the unit is booting it will show up unless there is software on the computer preventing it from doing so.
Download nas navi from our website and see if that will find it.
Disabled windows firewall
Stopped kaspersky antivirus utility
Installed HD-HGLAN FWUpdate.exe, got message no linkstation connected
No luck..
Nas navi did not find the device, I tried that too, not sure which version I need to use as I could not find one available in archive downloads for this tool
Well then you must have a bad ethernet cable and/or bad NIC
I was able make some progress. I connected to my wireless router and things are working just fine, could be the issue with network card. Not sure what else could be wrong.
I have an HD0HG250LAN that I've been using for quite a while to store photos and data. I just upgraded to Mac OS 10.7 (Lion), and I can't recognize the Linkstation. CAn someone help?????
Thanks in advance

Try using SMB:// and then the IP address in the connect to server window.
Still says "The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem."
It was worth a try, but 10.7 is too new for your product and your unit will not work with it since Apple changed the way that NAS devices connect to their products.
So am I out of luck with the data on this drive? Will Buffalo be updating firmware to allow me to access it?
Probably not (and understandiby so) your unit was discontinued more than 5 yearrs ago.
You could use a PC to access the data and back it up.
