: New Installation - LS-X2.0TL
: iqballud May 13, 2014, 04:26:32 PM
Hi Guys,

I am new on networking system and i just installed the Buffalo NAS LS-X2.0TL, but i face some difficulties how to install properly.
1. On the begin installation (boot from CD), there is message "No available LinkStation is found" then "LinkStation installation completed". I dont know why my pc could not recognize the LinkStation.
Need to advice how to solve this issue?

2. I tried to find the WebAccess interface because i need to register "BuffaloNAS.com Name" but i could not find it and i dont know how i will configure because i have been search by google, result: 0. How to create the "BuffaloNAS.com Name" and how to install WebAccess interface please?

3. I tried to share folder and would like to see the movie from network. Why the movie format .mkv could not play in my TV (samsung smart tv)?

4. How to find the product serial number, because in some site if i need to download the article they ask about this product serial number. I tried to write from box with the first word "S/N":..., but still the system said that's not correct or i tried to write the serial number from properties (right click, properties, serial number) again the system has rejected due to wrong serial number.

Thank you very much for your helps and guidance.

Regards,
Iqbal

Do you know what formats your tv supports???? Usually most TVs support AVI, WMV i believe but now theres what they call a codecs and this is what the movie contains for video and sound. Ya.. can get complicated.. if it down play convert it.. pretty much all i can tell you. I know my tv dont play mkv but will play others.
